    The thing with VST3 is that Steinberg never put its 100% into it, you see shitty documentation (improved in v3.7 a bit) and literally no help online. VST2 is a completely different thing, it has awesome docs, you can find help/tutorials online and cool software like MrsWatson. VST2 plugins can be coded in Java, Go, C++ or even Python

    Not to mention bugs and that infamous midi effect problems in VST3.
    Oh, and then there's VSTGUI... I'm lost for words

    No wonder JUCE is making big money. They must be so thankful to Steinberg :rofl:
