FX in VSTi or DAW?

    This is what I was getting at, but my reply was longwinded and this is as concise as you can get. This is probably the best approach you can do.

    check out KiloHearts' Phase Plant.
    It has a very straight forward efx section in which you can use all their efx.

    For me it depends, if i can get around with the inbuild FX in the VSTi.

    For example i like Spire's inbuild FX, the delay and the reverb are awsome, the Chorus has Jp8000 Mode for almost Supersaw creamishness.

    On the other hand for sylenth1/Zebra2 i use VSTFX/Ableton devices, since their inbuild FX are not so good sounding in my view and not so good to handle for me.

    So i guess u have to decide case by case and see if u feel comfortable with the inbuild FX.
