    Your instrumental doesn't fit the tempo of the vocal, this sounds like you just put an instrumental on the vocal without considering BPM and rhythm..

    The mix is very good.
    But I kind of have to agree with def12.

    The acapella is syncopated to a different rhythm of the backing track.
    Whilst that as a concept could work, it doesn't work as well in this case so it ends us sounding more like a mashup of two songs playing together.
