Yeah, that Fuse VCE-118 dbx box is insanely good. The Waves dbx, UAD dbx, and Softube VCA Comp feel 2 dimensional in comparison to me if you get it dialed in just right (bump a healthy 7.5-12~ dB 5k~ bell going into it, especially on live kick/snare/toms).

Also Reimund is behind Black Box HG 2 plugin, which is still quite a heavy hitter for me (put it across drum & bass aux, dial in the tone- don't overcook it, match the gain carefully- use something like Letimix GainMatch if you have to, dry run render it on/off and compare so you're shaving like 1-3 dB off the peaks, feels like cheating lol)

I do think his plugins tend to have narrower sweet spots than others, gain staging is crucial, and they must be dialed in carefully, but once you do you realize how good they can be. I'm still going through and giving more attention to his plugins with Fuse, Black Rooster, Neold, and Brainworx as I've just started to realize they're sleepers.
