On April 1, 2011, a posting was made of Ableton Suite v8.2.2 from AUDiO L3GiON, there was some discussion regarding its worth, relative to the AIR 8.2.1
version, with the last comment being recorded around May 10th. I am considering possibly installing this version, but would like further feedback/advice/
insight regarding the wisdom of such a move, especially in light of the fact that I have used the AIR offering with no problems. I would like to move forward with the MAX4LIVE technology, but am I setting myself up for consternation with the AUDiO L3GiON offering? I await your comments.

    Thank you

Seems to be fine, in the dozen or so hours that I've used it.

It's mainly just bugfixes, and if you're that paranoid about upgrading, then perhaps you should only do so if you're experiencing bugs that have been fixed.

I don't remember which version added Max4Live support, but if you want to use that, you'll at least need to use said version.

works fine here since it was posted - had no problems and ableton fixed the long loading times - which is a big plus - imo.
i used it almost for many hours up to 6-7 hours. had 3-4 crashed since them.

i hope version 9 comes soon with some new things in it.

read the same about Max. but on the hand never used it really deep - just took a look on it.

Very stable, no presenting problems at all, even when working in rewired mode. I've never tried Max4Live.
Just I had a nasty crash while I was duplicating AU instances. But that happens with fully licensed apps too.
