Hmm, I have both legit, and an older cracked version of Tonex. The non-legit version works just fine. I can even download and audition captures from Tonenet without restrictions.

 

As of the newest update?

 

I prefer workflow of the older versions of the software, so that's what I use.

How do you all organise your Database? I just imported all Profiles to ToneX, and now I have a database full of profiles, without any order, description... i would love to find a method to bnetter organize these profiles. How do you do it? Any tips for me?

THere are the profiles, and a second file, the IRs. Do i need the IRs to use the profiles properly?

 

Use the search and filtering options in Tonex. There's also an option to list by amp or name alphabetically.
Yes you need IRs.

If you're not running ToneX into a live cabinet you'll need IRs. I run my ToneX One pedal into a power amp and then 2 separate 1x12 cabs for s stereo spread.

It's great to mess with presets and IRs in Tonex. Sometimes is complicated to chose which sound you like best. For me it's the best solution I've tried to emulate an amp, soundwise. However, I either use the software with and interface, or the unit, using the unit with Windows is truly furstrating.
