Hey, are there any libraries that have a funk guitar that sounds like this?

cause i remember browsing through funk guitar libraries and there was nothing like this....

 

Know your chord inversions and fret positioning first.
Then edit those slides in after playing, in Ample Sound, Prominy, Shreddage line.
Can almost get there with Scarbee, but not quite, and not really an instrument.
Only a real guitar can do this properly.

 

Also, the chops and the techniques involved in them, and the tone etc, are from a very specific area of funk.
Specifically from Prince. Although others do similar, there are certain things that are very specific to this style, and which set it aside from others. This guitar part is undoubtedly referencing Prince. It's so obvious.

Realistic strumming will be the hardest part but I've heard a few demos that sound good enough for my taste.

I would recommend to start with RealStrat and Scarbee Funk Guitarist.

so programming slides are the key to getting this sound?

 

im looking for a virtual instrument that recreates that sound
i have efimov guitars and tried a few others but they sound nowhere close to the example shown

 

RealGuitar and Funk Guitarist have a good strumming simulation and the sound can be fixed by adding EQ.

 

found the solution: libraries with single coil neck pickups are what i needed, also using hammer on and pull offs
