My top 3 are: Splice because of the wide variety of sounds you can get, Stiickzz and Ultrasonic because they provide useful and good quality samples and presets for more popular genres. I also really like Black Octopus for their Leviathan serie but didn't put them into my top because the rest of their packs aren't good for what I do.

Yeah, that's the thing I hate about most newer Zenhiser packs, most of them have stems they call "songstarters" or something like that and many full mixes.

Acid Pro and Sound Forge recognize this metadata in acidized loops. Acid has a root note key next to bpm and tempo where you set your projects default root note, any acidized loop will immediatedly conform to the master key. After all this metadata thing started with Acid in '98. Acid and Forge can both acidize a loop too and add this information to it. With SoundForge you can use its batch function and add any kind of acidized metadata or many together to any number of files. Other soft that can recognize tempo and root note metadata is Cakewalk (Sonar). Supposedly Presonus Studio One can recognize root note metadata but i can't seem to find where and how. The rest of the daws recognize only tempo metadata, that is to my knowledge, if you know something please submit your findings :)

Dude... Kick loops usually don't carry any pitch metadata. Melodic loops do. Unless it's an 808 bass-like kick which may have pitch info, any normal drumloops don't.
So. I will substitute the kick loop in your question with a melodic loop and i will explain how it works. Acid uses realtime the Elastic Pro algorithm. It normally changes the pitch to whichever octave is closer to your master key. So in your example, if your loop is F and the master key is C, your loop will play 5 semitones lower. The normal question to ask now should be, "what do i do if i wanted it this to play in key but an octave higher ? ". But that's easy as well in Acid, while the loop is in your arrangement you can highlight it (just click-select it with the mouse) and use the plus(+) and minus(-) keys to raise and lower its key in semitones. You can also do this on the track/channel pane on the left of the arrangement to change the key of the whole track instead of just the loop inside it. This can be handy when you have - let's say- a bunch of performances in the same key and want to change them all at once.
Ok then, Acid lesson over lol. I will answer any Acid questions as i'm well versed in the soft, but if we 're going to do this, please do it on another thread, we 're highjacking this one and it's not the subject.
    Cheers :)

No, not really but Black Octopus distribute the two others on their download platform. Actually Black Octopus is a distributor while Black Octopus Sound is a label (if you see what i mean) Origin sound and Production Master are independant. (but if you look closer you will see that Origin Sound and Production Master seem to share a chart for visuals, titles, etc... may be they are related at some point idk)
I joined these three labels (the top three Black Octopus site labels) because there were only 20 possibilities for the poll, but may be i should have seperated them for more precision.

Quick Question: why is Native Instruments not in this list – with all the Maschine Expansions and Kontakt Libraries they release?
