I don't mean it exact as per title

i am talking from a perspective that noone knows who u are

for example if i put a song here and tell people to listen...it might get like 50-100 plays lets say?

On SoundCloud, people found my music on their own somehow

 

I've done ok on Bandcamp with basically zero promotion.

 

is bandcamp putting ur music on spotify/itunes etc? or its different from that, because i did that with tunecore and almost no listens

 

is it really people listening or its bots or something like that....i'd rather know my music has been heard rather than just growing numbers

 

This year I've got 6 listens on SoundCloud and it's been amazing. The sky is the limit.

 

No, just Bandcamp. I mean, I told some friends and forums 13 years ago when I put it up there and it's dribbled on steadily since then. You do have to tell someone it's there.

I was lucky enough to get my first album onto the venerable soma.fm internet radio station. Looking at their stats, I had thousands of plays and hundreds of thousands of listeners over the last year.

It's kind of hard to get onto, they get thousands of submissions, so I got really lucky. Still waiting to hear if they are going to run my second album. They're still running my first one well over a year later, so I'm optimistic.

I've heard something about that. But I have really small numbers. A few people have messaged me on Instagram about my music. So I don't think they were bots
