Maybe it's possessed and it's trying to tell you something, that's why he turns off the sound.

Try to get closer next time it happens to see if you can hear what's it's trying to say.

Anyway, I would sprinkle it with holy water and then look for an exorcist priest if it doesn't work.

like an earth issue. Please make sure that there's no connection between earth and negative on the power socket.
Otherwise you can solve it using a UPS. Almost all ups these days got a power line filter inside.

Just in case don't touch the fridge and a big metallic object at the same time. I had one of these electrical problems once and it wasn't pretty. Still feel the pain

Quik Fix....make an aluminum foil hat...Put it on
Now fill a pitcure of water...Put one hand in it
Now count to 3...(not 1 or 2..it has to be 3)
NOW With the othe hand grab the computer power, the fridge power, and last the power to the TV.
Hold this position until the Fridge kicks in.
Viola! Problem solved...You'll never hear the fridge again

I am not an electrician but my recommendation would be to call a real one to install an independent ground for your setup (gear, PC, monitors...)

My first guess would actually be grounding the fridge first.

Yes, recording on treadmills still hasn't had a fix yet.
You need to set a pre-roll on the daw of 2 miles.
