frequency and pitch

    hi, i have a question, What if I change the pitch an oscillator, we are changing the frequency of the note? for example, if I create a lead, with one oscillator but I detune 5 semitones and an octave, when I press a note c5, we listening the sound of the note c5, or we listening another note sound

    Another note. +/-12 semitones and you'll end up back on the same note ie an octave.
