Interesting, hopefully they add "search your own playlist" as a function. Something missing from YT...

 

looks interesting, although the UI could be a little better

 

uBlock...i've never seen an ad on YT for half a decade.

 

Ublocl and Adblock plus combined are perfect. As for my mobile youtubevance and microG have it on lock.

They do have that. Just type in your username in the search window and ALL your videos come up (in stages)


Also in the filter section, you can choose to sort by, relevance,Rating,Upload Date or view count!

 

web browser-like tabs?? no. but it has a button that allows you to open another separated instance of the app

I'm not sure that I expressed myself well.
What I'm missing in YouTube is to be able to search the playlist created when you save videos. ie, you create a playlist of your preferred artist, and you want to find a specific video in it.

No tabs yet, but you can open a new window, just right click on video link or in new window icon

 

Cool I use ublock too! Nver herad of vance but needs cydia and hack your phone.
I see this freetubeapp as a good alternative, and also you can use it out of your browser so you are a little more free, and of course for free, and open source. Now is for mac, windows and linux, but the potential of this is to be used it in a variety of hardware, like raspberry, kodi, dongles, etc.

Downloaded video has no sound?

 

In Freetube? There are several options to download video, some with and some without sound

 

I have the video only and sound only files, how to merge both files?
