That would make no sense, right? Urs timebombing his freebie? But yes indeed, It's fading away in front of my eyes. Upon opening it in a project, u can make maybe three knob twiddles, then it freezes, directs u to U-he website, and starts to slowly fade into black, graphically. Way to get those hackers, Urs!

any other "unofficial" software / plugins installed?
any modification to your hosts file?

I take it you are asking here because there may be something you don't want u-he support knowing?

Timebomb is the term used to describe when cracked software wake up start asking for license. A free software can't timebomb. What you are experiencing is called a bug.

 

Correct about the term, but a "bug" that happens so far only to one user that has both legit and non together?
On a system that may have called out?

 

Zebralette and ZebraCM have a weird thing where they actually share 'registration' status with Zebra, so if your zebra timebombs then it'll take Zebralette and CM out with it.

That said, I checked all 3 versions of Zebralette, and both versions of ZebraCM on my system, and none have timebombed from the date, but then my Zebra hasn't either.

 

I get what you say. I see it more like a logical move.
That is if it actually only does that, to mess with non-legit versions.
