That synth and I travelled many roads together true, but there comes a time when it would better in the hands of a younger person who might once more discover the magic of its tones? My ears are not what they used to be, neither is the size of my house... It deserves to be played not trapped in a vampire case for 15 years.....
I offer it up to the AZ community in the hope it will begin a new journey, and flower again like it once did in the 90s.

Whoever gets it will need to have some basic soldering skills. Converting the battery to a user-replaceable one is step one. They'll also need a DIN-5 MIDI interface and cables so they can download new internal sounds, because the memory will be corrupt at this point. And unless they're content with those 32 sounds, they'll need to stay tethered to a librarian or keep flashing sysex files. This is all doable, but just saying to whoever gets it, you'll have to work for it. The keybed is a classic, though. In good condition, it's still very nice to play. I've owned one since the early 80s and I'm in the same boat - haven't powered it on in 15 years, it's time to sell it and move on.

Well, that's my pitch fucked. I can mend it, and I definitely wouldn't be selling it on for a quick profit, but I can't claim to be anything approaching young. I might let the annoyingly talented kid from next door have a go but I'd probably have to kick him out if he got too good on it. Pesky kids with their quick fingers, quick learning and seemingly infinite time ahead of them. I've already promised him my Strat when I go. :)
