I agree, would certainly make something closer to that if I sold VSTs. If I was a car manufacturer & had to pick just one color to make them in, I'd probably go with silver (over, say, cyan & cream two-tone). Which is not to say cyan/cream is bad -- just not for everyone.

I'm not selling skins tho, appealing to the broadest possible demographic isn't the point. Had fun making it, sorta liked it, thought I'd share. In my defense, not like I'm making you to listen to my shitty music

Look, I'm all for practical, no-bullshit GUI for productivity apps, tho guessing the reason VST makers didn't break with skeuomorphic design by now (a virtual synth needs to resemble a real synth about as much as Microsoft Word needs to look like a typewriter) is because most people who ~~steal~~ buy their warez are doing it for fun (aren't professional music factory assembly line workers, trying to manufacture as many ~~shitty~~ musics as their tooling allows).
