I looked at the reaper website with the download for the reaplugs suite to use in other DAWs. However when they showed the preview of the plugins included, I saw no mention of Reaverb.

Did they just leave it out of the article on their webpage & just decided to not showcase it but included it in the installer anyways or is it excluded?

Yep, ReaVerb is for Reaper owners exclusively. Fom their homepage 'Want to use some of the comprehensive FX plug-ins that REAPER provides, ... a package of FX that includes many of the plug-ins that come with REAPER, for free!
Means, not all of them are included.

If you can use 32bit VST plugins, you could try installing Reaper and search for reaverb.dll, then copy to your directory for 32 bit VSTs. Supposedly this works, but my DAW only uses 64 bit plugins, hence I was not able to verify.

Edit: managed to batch convert the irregular IRs to 16 bit regular wavs using Audacity multiexport function. Beautiful!

And here is another one for the plate reverb fans:

I tried this with a different host for 64 bit version. Didn't work, not recognized.

I believe the Reaverb dll is 32 bit, no matter whether you use 32 or 64 bit version of Reaper. My Cubase recognised the dll as a 32 bit plugin, but blacklisted it (Cubase 10 and newer auto-blacklists 32 bit plugins).

I probably should just give Reaper a try. Won't be a problem to buy it either because it's very cheap especially in comparison to other DAWs. I tried it way back in 2006 but never gelled with it. It's not 2006 anymore, is it?
