Can this app run on Mojave 10.14.6 or made to run on Mojave 10.14.6

 

I do not want to go to 10.15 as the disk structure is changed and files are moved all over the place. A disaster.
I could run this on my PC but it is not connected to the net and never has been. It has to download files so this is a no go.

After updating to 3.2.0, the conversion starts with an error - the PIL module does not have attributes...

 

Another version? the developer is on form!

At this rate, I'm going to stop downloading updates without a change log. Personally, I find this way of working a bit messy.
It seems that some people are experiencing PIL module problems with this version.

I uninstalled the version to try a clean install but there is still the same error and the server is unavailable to download the data.

I'm getting a startup error with the previous version.

I'd prefer a totally stand-alone version with no connection to a remote server, as UVR offers.

 

Having a production computer connected to the internet is just insecure and wrong.
Why would you expose your client.

 

fortunately, I have an offline production pc on which no internet network is connected. I'm experimenting on a laptop to process the dirty part before any validation on my production PC.
The more you have to clean and reinstall an OS, the more cautious you become.
This tool is interesting, but AI still has many limits. It's currently more of a toy than a production tool.
However, I'm starting to take an interest in the subject to learn how to behave in the face of this inevitable development.
We all know that fire burns, but we're going to get burned anyway.
An AI will never be Mozart or Charlie Parker. it will never propose anything innovative. It will remain an ersatz.
Programmers may have a certain talent for writing lines of code, but the feeling of a taste, of a color, will remain suggestive.


I don't really understand curt's approach.
Does he want the community to be beta testers for a future commercial version?
Why doesn't he communicate more? Why isn't there a change log?
I'm puzzled.

I was thinking that maybe this could be used by composers who a writing a song to pitch to say Riahana. They could use her AI voice to give her an idea of how it would sound. But maybe that would piss a singer off.

Curtified does this as hobby and he stated that he has another job and he tries to be as active as he can, so calling him ignorant makes you look like a dick.. be happy that there are people who are sharing their skills with you

 

Nobody said Curtified is ignorant. He is doing a great job and a few external ideas given to him by others can only help create something better.
I find when I am mixing a song I don't know how I am really doing till I get input from others. This is just part of the creative process.

I have never disrespected anyone here, least of all someone who shares the development of the application with the community.

that I question the form and content is legitimate.
that I think AI is a potential scourge is reasonable.
i repeat, i think the absence of a modification log is a problem. the absence of a complete offline installation is not desirable.

After uninstalling due to bugs I now even have a problem with UVR.

I haven't followed the whole thread as I was waiting on the plugin version, and made the mistake of choosing an AMD GPU (before the recent AI boom), but it's nice to see this regularly updated.

 

yeah, no new apps/plugins works anymore with Mojave. I use Replay win vers with Parallel Desktop

 

Give it another 8 months of beta testing...at least on Mac m1 Samona

Again, as I have mentioned on here many times, this is fully standalone; it's not a remote server. It all runs locally, creating a local server to handle the AI part of the conversion.

You do need to initially connect to the internet to download all the essential AI tools to make the OFFLINE conversions work.

After downloading the requirements, it requires no internet connection to run.
