A well explained topic of what is wrong with modern recording, creating & production.

I enjoyed that. I didn't find it so much saying that modern recording is bad, as possibly like you? - I also grew up in the analog period... So I felt he was saying before you reach for the group plugin, group quantize or any effect that is going to inflict a noticeable change or shift in a part or all the music, focus on the vibe/groove/feel and don't lose that as a priority.
As for more modern techniques - It is a different period, approach, style and set of standards and only speaking for myself, I do not think in some instances they can be compared.

Not that it is "bad" but, that there are misconceptions about audio/music production in the currents era.

He previously did another video that was a very similar topic, unless this is a repost or updated version for whatever reason. Once you remove the idea of trying to judge one process as superior to the other, as suggested by the video title; it's rather difficult to argue with the individual points he makes about why it is inherently different. He nails it about "prosumer" gear at 4 minutes in, but it also minimizes the point that there is still an entire boutique pro audio gear market of mostly smaller manufacturers making exceptionally high quality stuff.

I think he really gets his point across where he hits upon the lower or completely removed monetary risk involved with releasing anything. People are currently opening their eyes to it because of AI, but the reality is we as music listeners, have been inundated with junk for a long time already. There used to be others' with a financial stake making decisions that prevented big budget productions of junk. It was all still out there, we just never heard most of it. Now we get 60,000 uploads per day of it.
