Every thing comes back to taste and listening history. If you make the best mix of your whole life (inspired by your special flavour) and ask a traditionally and classically trained person, an old-school electronic maker, etc to listen to it, he/she won't appreciate it. Their ears have been tuned up already. New works need fresh ears and attitudes. Of course this is true for me too. I never understand the mainstream pop or many more.
