Nice one. But i think your title is a bit confusing. It's not scoring. It's remixing an already "balanced" piece of stems. So actually is film mixing aficionados

 

You're right. Re-mix would be more accurate.
When I unzipped that archive though, I realized I had everything I needed to completely re-score the thing and my zealous nature must have got the best of me.

 

I checked their back story of what these guys claim to have done and claim to have a lot of experience,but upon checking out the short film it was amateur hour,very badly done on all levels,even for a short indie very low budget kind of movie.

 

Haven't check their back but i think it was a 2 man crew. If i'm right then i'll be a little forgiving on it. I know how hard is to do camera work,audio,grading,dop etc.You can do it, but it will end as an average piece in the end.

 

Look at it as a chance to see just how much a kick-ass score can make a mediocre flick great,
or
'How to polish a turd'

 

Agree,but i just dont see much value in it,it doesnt inspire me on any level and i dont fuck around with my time.
