Hi to all members of audiosex.pro!

I have a question or problem and I want to know If this happens to someone else or if someone has Experience to fix it.

I Have a focusrite 2i2 and since I purchase this unit I am not very happy with the results that I 'm having.. I connect every day my guitar to playback with effects or simulate amps with guitar rig 5 OR amplitube 4 ,etc and The problem is that I feel the sound very bass or or honestly I do not feel the true faithful sound you have to have with this great audio card or that have the youtube peoples. I prefer the sound of my guitar amp of 15w directly :/

My signal chain is: epiphone les paul guitar - focusrite 2i2 - amplitube or any vst - then to the monitors. I tried also with bias amp demo or bias fx demo also, I have the beta drivers but also tried with the latest drivers 2.5.1, change cables, etc, change to my second guitar sx stratocaster..

And other problem is with a dynamic mic, I have to turn up the gain to the max for hear it. and I also hear a "sssss" noise when I do it.

Honestly I can not get a sound that I like with this interface and my guitar, and the software so far.

I think the sound can still be improved and there is a problem here.

hi

there is nothing wrong with the box, as i hear it you just started playing the guitar and have no experience with studio equipment. it is very very hard i know. it takes years to perfect THE guitar tone of your dream. record in 24bit, it's ok if the signal is quiet in recording, you can use compressors/clippers/saturators to bring up the volume. use a tuner.

so dont worry, you will get there, but it takes years. download ik multimedia t-racks cs, it has fantastic compressors and eq's.
