FM synthesis experts, could you recommend books or video tutorials to learn it?

    You're totally right, when I bought the SY99 I wanted to become the new sound maker of the 90's.:rofl:
    After one week of testing/tweaking I collapsed and it just became a preset synth, it's actually a real monster, but its programming is a pain in the ass, and I had to do it with a slow and small lcd, though it was graphical, a great thing for the time and a huge leap from DX7.
    Moreover, I recently gasped when I read this from the only (I think) SY99 emulator for Falcon (TGX-99):
    What? A 91 synth? Pretty scaring.
    Exactly.
    Just think of FM like the Quantum Gravitational String Theory of the sound.:rofl:

    Its a shame Yamaha doesn't get Steinberg or do a license deal with Arturia (like Korg did with Arturia's MS20) to make some emulations like Korg and Roland do.
