Hi Guys,

First of all I'm using UR22 MK II soundcard, FL Studio 12.4.1 and a laptop with 16 GB RAM and Intel core i7 6700HQ with windows 8.1.
Just facing a weird issue with FL Studio related to latency compensation. Al tough Plugin delay compensation is set automatic still this problem occurs.

Now what happens is, in the mixing console if I add more plugins in a strip then the latency changes to zero of that particular strip. This simply kills the mix. (Please refer to the image attached)

I have tried with FL Studio ASIO and Soundcard ASIO, still the issue is same.

How to avoid this, any pointers?

that's how Fl studio manages Delay composition...

if you have plugins that adds DC, then you have to put all of your sounds samples synth in your mixer (or maybe through the mixer)

that way they all get treated and no more DC problems occurs...

Best option is to goto C;/programfiles/imageline and Delete the whole thing.. The DAW is inferior to the others. I struggled with FL12 for 2-3 yrs and learned the basics on it and once I switched to Ableton I saw "the light". And I can give you FL tracks vs ableton tracks lol.. Big difference. It helps you mix better for emproducers

 

I don't know how to solve it, but months ago I had the same plugin installed.
I put it on a channel, fiddle around with it, oh cool, ok let's export and see how it sounds.
Sounded like shit, because there was no delay compensation and something was clearly wrong and offset. I wrapped my head around it and found out it was this specific plugin. Ended up deleting it.

Are you sure it's not THAT specific plugin the problem?

 

I am a lot happy with FL, it works for me all the time. This issue is weird, will fix it soon.

 

There are few more which cause the same problem and that too when a lot of processing is going in the mixing section.

 

All my tracks are routed to mixer. Dunno why this happen.

Here PDC strikes on Guitar strip when i turn off/on the vst on Guitar strip.

I'd probably look at which plugin could be causing this, Solo them one by one and check..

Check your Audio settings tab and play around with the buffer switch etc, if nothing works reinstall with fresh settings. Also try your Interface's stock driver if it came with one. Maybe even check a different version

Check the manual approach from FL Guru as well.

I had a latency problem as well, but with Fl11. Spitfish de-esser on the vocals caused my drum bus to play too early. That among other things was my reason to switch to ableton.
If you can't get it to work, bounce the problematic channel with just the plugin causing those issues. Or just the whole thing if the chain of plugins matters. Since it's a destructive edit i would copy the channel in beforehand if i were you.

Most plugins from isotope can't be used as channel strips. With the exception being their vocal engine and nectar.

 

Also, I've had a few problems with latency in Ableton, especially in regards to recording vocals and instruments.

 

Searched a lot on imageline forum, found this is an issue with FL and Imageline team will fix it on FL 13.
