Has anyone had a successful attempt at doing this?
Using Cubase for drums is frustrating to say the least.
I thought the problems would have been addressed in 10, but here we are.

I'm looking to rewire or use FL as vsti (whatever the better/more stable option is)
If anyone has any insight into doing this, it would be greatly appreciated.
(looked on google and youtube, and there's not much at all about it)

It doesn t really work as advertized

~ VSTi version, will load inside your Cubase, but you can not use any of the key commands inside FL Studio

~ ReWire version may have the KeyCommands in FL Studio Working

So only option for Composing with FL Alongside Cubase is ReWire ( unless you figure a way to get to the FL Key Commands in the VST version or you do not mind using only Mouse for moving around the program )

I ( would ) Like using the VSTi best, but since there are no key commands you really can t navigate FL Studio like you would

 

Coming to think of it:

Maybe best workaround is

~ Use Rewire until a song is forming
~ then move that into VST

But that cripples edit ability from the moment you open FL Studio inside Cubase, it s bye bye keycommands

 

If anybody finds a way of getting the keycommands in FL VSTi working, i would be one wanting to know

FL Studio VST or Rewire does not, and did not support the use of keyboard shortcuts.It is very difficult to get keyboard shortcuts working correctly in all different host programs.There are no plans to add keyboard shortcut support to the program https://support.image-line.com/action/knowledgebase?ans=313

 

They supported keycommands untill the staff misplaced some files / now they don t know how to fix it

That s the reason i Bought FL Studio so i know... because they broke it right after i got my copy
