Chord generator is the best feature in FL Studio! Why added only now? Ah yes, IL have jumped the number again from 21 to 24, which has become a tradition..

After switching to Studio One several years ago, I could never go back. I still have to open FL once in a while for old projects, and the workflow is a nightmare compared to the efficiency of S1. I say this as a former "apologist" for FL.

Whenever a client sends me stems, for example, I can tell from the absolute mess that he is using FL.

Built in stem separation means nothing to anyone who has been using UVR (which is free and superior). FL is just using the same basic algorithms as everyone else, and selling it as a "feature".

Didn't realize there was a FL Studio 24. When did they release it?

FL Studio 24: the name of our new subscription model, it includes some Uvi stuff, some melda, a few sample packs, studio edition access to FL Studio, and all this for only $29,99 a month. All your permanent licenses turn into a subscription!
    Enjoy!
    Your IL team.

$30/month is absurd for such a clunky DAW.

Edit: Their marketing is confusing. If I understand correctly, this is $30/mo for their extras? Don't care either way.

I did see that you can get some UVI stuff with the free tier? Interested if it could be used with the regular UVI Workstation?

It downloads the regular workstation, and sets it as the default library, which will break R2R's workstation if you have it, oh, and it'll also complain about all your R2R cracked libraries, probably notify UVI/IL too, although I haven't been banned yet and it was like 3 weeks ago when it did it to me.

I tried fruity loops about 10 years ago. Being on cubase/nuendo/protools I found FL to be lacking in many areas that I had come to depend on in the big three. I can say the same thing about ableton as well. Just didn't suit my workflow at all. To each is own I guess.

I checked on my mac by downloading trial version. Almost %90 of my cracked plugins (Including Waves) seem to not work and getting license errors

When UVI was purchased by Imageline, I joked that while Falcon is amazing; the first thing they would probably do would be to move a few of their programmers over to work on FL. It has been getting gradually more difficult for Teams to make good releases of it, with weird little bugs and so on. FL has to be one of the most unpaid for audio programs ever, after Waves.

The main DAW is not subscription. Their new "FL Cloud" is subscription but is just for add-on stuff like sounds and some plug-ins from other companies in the group. You still have to buy the main DAW so the subscription is terrible value!

In the DAW the new Chord Progression tool is pretty good but the whole DAW is a bit of a car crash. I'd describe the UI as sprawling, confusing and inconsistent. But it's still got one of the best piano rolls in the business. I'd go crazy trying to use it as my main DAW but as an idea generator and play thing it's quite fun. No regrets about buying it years ago and still getting free updates.

I think crackers should not focus on this version, I think the next version is the best
Because FL 24 has added new features and increased software bugs, one of the reasons for releasing this version very quietly is its flaws.
Now they are working on a newer version which is a bug fix version
In my opinion, I feel that version will be more stable
