I have been asked here, and the sister site whether "renaming everything works" in FL Studio 20.1.1.795. Some members have sent me PMs telling me that it is not working for them. To clarify this issue I will say that it does work. It works as intended. Don't expect renaming to be "global" in each instance. The "renaming everything" takes place only when you

• Drop an instrument or audio track on Playlist Track Headers and it creates an instrument track group with auto renaming/coloring on channel track, playlist and mixer from either one of them.

For those used to other DAW's methods of renaming, FL Studio is a little different, and it will take some practice to get used to it. Read manual, watch videos, visit the IL Forum, but more importantly use it so you learn the new improved workflow.
