FL Studio 12.x Color-Fading Background

This is a background which fades its color using html & javascript.

Had this Idea while testing a plugin for one of my installers to
fade several wizard images.

To install it, just use my installer which lets you coose between
installing all sizes to set one of them manually later or one size
which automatically will be set as FL Studio 12.x wallpaper.

Great work! lite on pc too. I tried to change the who fl studio interface colour but somehow it's not working. I did replace the #ff in metal plate.txt in fl studio12->Artwork->wallpapers. Which file should I be editing. Thanks!

You're creativity and reverse engineering capabilities might make Image-Line think to give you job offer. Lol..!

I don't know ABCs of development of such tools. But as an user, imo, This tool may be more attractive to community if they can choose their own image and get effect similar to this....

But... This is also very nice looking addition to FLS. Shat Shat Naman (Hundreds of Bows) to your creativity...

 

Looks great! Even got it running with FL11. And so do your desktop icons, especially when all the versions of FL shot out at the beginning there. How do you go about doing that?

looks very pretty but too distracting for me.
i always check the "I'm a miserable old c**t" checkbox in preferences for cancelling any ornamentation.

Yes, the music I used here was made by me in 2006 - one of my older projects.
Heard it in one of my playlists while creating that fading background and thought
it would fit well as setup music.

Yeh, It also works with older versions if you install and set it manually. I just have chosen the colors
I used here to fit best the appearance of FL12 but that doesn't mean that it only works with FL 12.x. ;)

That's "Stardock ObjectDock 2" with a docklet called "Stack Docklet". The blurry background for the docks on the right was
also made by me. Just wanted to have a simple white blurry backround but there only were multicolored fancy backgrounds
available. If you want these, write me a pm and I'll upload 'em for you.

You can edit the images and the html file as you like and replace the images with your own.
It then will fade your custom images. You can also edit the fading settings to let an image
move instead of fade it. Thats all up to you.

Hm, nice thought but atm I don't think, it's possible.
The Background is based on html + js. Reacting to music works with some java script libraries but in that case, the music have to be played inside of the html file using webaudio. Another problem would be the usage of CPU to process such a function. I already created some more animated fl backgrounds and the more code I added, the more they slowed down the workflow in FL Studio.

So, the resolution is quite not my size. So I resize the images and edited the resolution in the HTML and all good now.

What instruments did you use to get the nice drones?
