Hi everybody. I cant get Waves Codex and Elements vst instruments loading on the instrument tracks. They are then treated like fx plugins and they get moved to the mixer fx section. So i cant play them with a midi controller. I did not found anything satisfying on internet. Maybe i am too blind/dumb. I am normally an ableton guy but now i wanted also to practice some other daws.

Any help is appreciated

yes you are right, you must load the wavesshell v9.6 for instruments and v9.7 for fx but better would be to use the shell to dll provided by our beloved team ...i thing they forgot to include it in the latest release, i know i have a copy of it somewhere, if ill find it ill pm you

 

@virusg I am on Waves v9.6 and FL studio does n ot show any shell. I have all the plugins shown separately.

 

yes, since fl12 image line "reads" the waveshells and shows them seperatly
