Hello everyone!

So far I am enjoying FL Studio 12 a lot!

However, I have this issue with the now called Channel Rack.



As you can see on the piano roll on the right, I have a melody that is 8 steps long, but on the channel rack it only shows the first 4 steps.

Is there any way I can change it so it shows the 8 steps on the channel rack without having to stretch it to 8 steps and use loop mode so the kick repeats every 4 step (as in the previous versions of FL Studio)?

 

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but if you click the button that is on the right side of the swing you will get another interface for the step sequencer, however you still will still have to right-click your kick and click "Fill each 4 steps" to make it fit with the melody.

Click the yellow Keys next to swing on the channel rack.

 

As stated by Karate Chop, You're in the step sequence view, click the yellow keys to see the piano roll preview.

This was done so that the step sequence and piano roll previews would always be in sync.

 

Yo need to grab the right side and move to the right and you now look the complete melody and the 8-16 steps

No issue. Look at the + sign (channel rack -> lower side). On the right there is a horizontal slider. Use it to slide along the pattern.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ON THE OLD FL YOU COULD HIT THE YELLOW BUTTON AND IT WOULD LOOP YOUR STEP SEQUENCER 1 MEASURE EVEN IF TOU HAD A 8 MEASURE PATTERN I DONT THINK YOU CAN DO IT ON FL 12 YOU DONT WANT TWO TRACKS ON THE SAME CHANNEL ANYWAYS THO FOR MIXING PURPOSES
