Today i tryed to install fl studio 12.5.59 on a x86 pc
when it frist opened it,it said plugins missing.
so i tryed a fresh rescan of the database and still got the same error,
then i deleted all FST & NFO files from here
    C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Data\Patches\Plugin database\Installed\
and remade the database again still no joy,
After that i deleted all reg files to do with Image-Line
and also deleted the full Image-Line folder and reinstalled fl it didnt work .
i tryed copy a old 12.4 Plugin Manager to here
    C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\System\Tools\Plugin Manager
deleted the FST & NFO again and did a fresh rescan and it was wast of time
plugins still not found ,so seen as fl installs all plugins x64 and x86
on a 32bit pc that takes up about 400 mb ?
i deleted all x64 plugins that should never have been install on a 32bit pc
thinking the Plugin Manager was scaning them i gave up after that.

    Part 2
After all this i copyed the P2P patches into fl studio and now fl is still in demo mode
the x86 and x64 work fine on a x64 pc so im now going back to fl 12.4.2
as this update has been a mess.

    The End Just about :deep_facepalm:

Update after i put a legitimate il reg to unlock fl 12.5 all plugins are found and working
looks like there was something missed in the P2P version on a 32bit pc
so if you get these plugin errors try the R2R version.
I still can't under-stand why the plugins were not found in demo mode with clean reg and folder.

    =========================================================
Good news i found i removed the wrong reg file ha ha after all that .
If your using the P2P version delete the reg from here.
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Image-Line\Registrations\FL Studio 12.5]
There was a fix shared but it only works on the x64 version with a fake reg still installed.

If your using the R2R version and get these plugin not found errors
it could meen the fl eng is not patched and it reads the reg and won't open the plugins.
so make sure the fl eng is patched before you run fl studio.
Or try remove the 12.5 reg to check if the plugins will open.

Edit: Thats good to hear. Cheers to that.
So their new protection scheme is kinda working in some way (for that short time until R2R did it again). One thing is clear. When they fix something on the frontside, another one breaks down at the back. <- We have that saying about some dude in the neighborhood. He's a mechanic and always busy fixing things at his house and IL reminds me a lot of him. Kinda real Perpetuum mobile. :bleh:
I noticed one cool thing about that stubborn Plugin Manager on x64 system: It finally lists all the x64 and x86 Plugins (even the never to be found duplicates) correctly.
...And although it does that listing correctly, the Plugin Database now shows many already found and sorted Plugins in the /Installed/New Dir and does not delete them automatically anymore..

I wish FL Studio would FINALLY make the plugin manager sort plugins by folder or manufacturer instead of clumping them into one pile of mess with just generators and effects. Or is there a way to do this? I would like to have them sorted better and this is why I don't use FL studio much. I like the way bitwig sorts everything properly. If anyone can give me some insight on this without having to make all custom folders let me know thanks

For sure @Blazin, not in the Plugin Manager but in the Plugin Database..
If I remember correctly this came with FL 12... Well... But not really without making your own custom folders.. I dont know what you mean by this exactly. Maybe just watch the video..
Don't know how bitwig does it. But its very fast and easy if you started once...

You can make your own categories and edit everything as you want in FL or simply from explorer. Very cool feature I think.

Thanks for suggesting this but it still makes me create a bunch of folders to organize it or I would have to go 1 by 1 through 1280 plugins. I would like a sort by folder\vendor option to mimic the way I have the VSTs installed all to C:\VSTPlugins in Vendor named folders. I know a great option that FL could add is when you have those boxes in the more plugins option to "SELECT ALL"...I cannot believe this option doesn't exist. I am not selecting 1280 boxes lol. I guess I am just picky about it

All you have to do is open the plugin manager chouse verify plugins
start scan ,have a cup of tea then come back and in the plugin database open installed
there are two folders effects and generators these have subfolders called vst all plugins will be sorted in them
by effects and generators you can then drag and drop these into fl

@Blazin yeah, thought so. That's some work. Fastest way would be to arrange everything from the windows explorer. Vendors sometimes have their names before plugin name which helps a bit. Look at the picture below for clarification..

BTW if you disable windows defender the search goes roughly a hundred times faster :winker:

Edit: Last Part had to be counted along the export issue thread
