Yeah I got the same issue also on Windows 10, just tested it for fun!

 

For me it is the keygen, as mentioned above

 

On what OS are you @quadcore64 , @PrettyPurdie and @filtersweep ?
And on which OS did you get it running @swavenation ?

 

We hope there is a solution, also why spend 200/300 euros for a hobby, to which I get nothing by making songs is a bit excessive ... I do music for fun without having anything in return

 

Same with most of problems: if there will be a solution is only a question of effort, which rather means time than money.. not necessary to ask open questions on monetary issues... (totally out of context here and leads to the same old dumb debates about rich and poor assholes and freedom crime)

 

If anyone finds a solution, just give it ... I'll try to solve ...

I didn't get it to work for the new version but i was still able to downgrade to 12.5.0.59 by deleting the fl engine files in the directory. You can't downgrade to 12.5.0.59 without deleting those files first because the fl studio installer will not overwrite/replace those files. I will test out the new version on a different PC and see what happens

 

I think it has something to do with the registry files like someone mentioned above.

No problems here (I also own the Signature Bundle).
Just don't uninstall the older version, and everything should work fine.
Als, FL started to found it's own plugins after patching....

It's a registry issue, but the problem that makes this problem even on a pc where I've never instaled anything ... so I think it's the keygen / pach that can not block any restriction made by image-line.

 

Did you install the keygen of version 12.5.1.5?

 

I also brought the pc back in time when I had not updated and I had version 12.5.0.59 but even if I had the old version gave me the same problem and did not open me any more projects, I had to reinstall the last one by force. In my opinion it is useless to uninstall and reinstall, losing all the settings. Because, as I said, I installed version 12.5.1.5 on a pc I do not use to produce music so I have never installed fl studio and even on this pc by the same problem as my other 3 pcs ... That's the keygen .. If only you could contact R2R ...

I uninstalled whatever previous version I had, first. Windows 10.

For me, the problem is the keygen. Starts fine (with admin ofc), but as soon as I try to click anything in it, it closes with an error that says I haven't patched my hosts file (which I already have). So, needless to say, I can't patch anything.

Tried an old keygen from 12.4.2 that generates a reg-file, didn't work with 12.5.1.5.

I did not have this problem, that is, the keygen works and makes Fl Studio not demo ... But after some use remember that it is demo and if it is saved it can no longer be opened and blah blah ... Then load the vst is DEMO saying? you click ok but nothing happens, then when you close the program comapre a script that says what to buy (versions etc) even if it was handled with the keygen, and on the other say Producer Edition, for me remains the keygen that according to me is the same as the old version 12.5.0.59. In this latest version there is something else that makes Fl Studio safe from cracking.

 

Hopefully there is a solution as well because the projects I have saved with fl 12.5.1.5, because I did not know would have caused problems ...
