I recently switched to sttudio and cannot believe how much time i've been ignoring it for FL Studio instead - WRONG. Studio One is so much better than FL and now they have the Pattern Mode step sequencer FL studio cannot come close, only becuase i'm so used to FL Studio is the only reason why I'd even say I like it now. Studio One has crushed FL in my winning books. I havent even tried Studio One 5. I find 4 so good that I may just buy v5 and not wait for it on the sister site

I believe that the main reason most people like FL is because its very easy and intuitive to navigate inside this DAW, when you get to the patterns, piano roll, etc and then to the playlist or mixer while doing so. hopefully image line will fix the problems and release a stable version they would most likely call FL 25 or something

@Area51 So you're quoting someone that is saying they left FL. "S1 has crushed FL". "FL cannot come close" etc.
    And you 'respond' with:
    Where is your head at?

    Have they fixed these:
    1. Parameter values are between 0 and 100 when typing and setting, even for native plugins.
    2. Renaming channels doesn't rename it's mixer channel and automations.
    3. Making objects unique doesn't properly rename them (e.g. lead #2 - automation becomes lead #3 instead of lead #2 - automation #2).
    4. After changing pitch range and when automating, automation stays in previous range instead of current range.

I was asking if Image-Line fixed the issues I've listed.

i don't think so. i think they do not even know what you're talking about. and i also think image line have no good developer now who is going to understand what we are trying to explain. he he. fl is making money but they want to show it off by new updates by breaking and fixing the problems and they have to come out as hero. he he i find it funny. and i also think the current devs are just some script kiddies or junior devs imo. he he. you got the exact point which i have been having issues since ages. he he

the problem is that some of the crucial workflow troubles aren't fixed and just keep coming back after a while or some other minor update. as I wrote on page 1 of this topic - this stuff is going on for more than 10 years already!

yeah the only thing i am able to say for fl is that it have a damn good piano roll. otherwise i am not able to make anything in ableton also so i have to stick to it. ableton is super good but i have sticked to the fl for like 5-6 + years. so i have to die or use ableton which is hard for me because of simple playlist in fl compared to ableton. ableton is great in automation and warp is also good. it's just i used fl too much. now i cry in corner he he

I've used Studio One for some time. I like it, but I think automation needs to be fixed.
