Nudge to a really old topic, sorry, but maybe someone has the answer. I've just bumped into the Mac version of the infamous Trans VST. Has anyone used it before? When I try to install it, the installer shuts down right after I enter the serial number. I tried downloading the installer again without luck. I have also tried Permissions Reset. Maybe I can use Pacifist? Once again, apologies for injecting adrenaline to a dying horse.

I hope you can help me.

    Peace.

    EDIT: I'm on OS X Mavericks 10.9.5.

I know though this is old af. But i noticed everyone is missing a key step. Copy the VST.dll file you wrapped, from the path you scanned on TransVST, and paste them to your default VST folder where all your VST plugins are. Depending on where you have previously installed your VST plugins will determine your default location. If you never manually selected a default location, and just clicked "NEXT. NEXT. NEXT. FINISH" when installing your VST plugins, the installer will choose a default location for you.
NOTE: NOT ALL PLUGINS CHOOSE THE SAME VST DEFAULT LOCATION.

Usually the deafult path that installers choose are:

    C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
    Or
    C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
    Or
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2
    Or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins
    Or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
    Or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VSTPlugins

So my guess is that your installer created more than one location to install VST plugins. In that case copy the original VST.dll file you wrapped with TransVST and paste it to all the path locations where VST plugins where installed. Check the paths I mentioned above. You might have additional path locations you have to copy paste the VST.dll file to.

To avoid, I only install VST3 and AAX. And I only install VST plugins that I know have to be wrapped. Example: AutoTune 5 + EVO + 8.1 & Soundtoys.

TransVST wrapped plugins working successfully on
    WINDOWS 10 : 21H1; 1803 ; 1908
    PT 10
    PT 11
    PT 12
    PT 12HD
    PT ULTIMATE 2021
    LENOVO LAPTOP
    HP ENVY LAPTOP
    HP ENVY DESKTOP

Every VST plugin has worked except for some Cubase and FL studio VST.dll plugins
    Hope this helps

    PS.
    After moving the AAX plugin
    Grab the file, for example:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Midnight EQ 64.aax\Contents\x64\Midnight EQ 64.aax

And drag & drop it to TransVST_Fixer.exe
    (Included in TransVST installation pack)

    C:\Program Files\Sugar Bytes\TransVST\TransVST_Fixer.exe

Replace the original .aax file with the modified file it creates.

    Load up Pro Tools. Done
