lol but firefox has been comprimised a long time ago by the very company u say is a slimebag. google and firefox work close together and after they developed there relationship firefox started sending info out by default after a certain version i cant remember which but now u have to try to disable it and its not easy u have to go into browser config etc etc lets just say the newer versions of firefox all by default give browser info out even if u select private browsing....any ip sniffer will reveal this....in fact it does it upon start up...ull be surprised when money flows how much firefox will cooperate with googles main business partners to reveal ur usage info to them.....i really suggest yall look into it further

To be fair Mozilla is completely transparent about this. A popup bar shows at the bottom of the window saying that Firefox sends information to Mozilla and there is a simple Choose What I Share button which will allow you to specify what you want to share.

Loving the new Firefox, in my opinion way better than the old version. Not only is it faster but it looks much better and it's not evil. Wins all around.

PS SAiNT those connection issues I was having...they ONLY happen in Chrome.

I always skip at least one version because of addon compatibilty. So I guess I'll try version 30 then.

Actually that no longer makes sense since both Chrome and Firefox are phasing out NPAPI plug-ins in a version. If you use decent plug-ins then the devs would have updated them since they test on pre-release. Adblock Plus had a new version available and Roboform worked flawlessly from the version before the final of Firefox. Firefox will phase them out slowly but Chrome will do it more drastically.

For me it works really fast. Faster than Chrome. Some sites take a lot to load in chrome because of scripts, social buttons and ADS. With FF29, they load instantly.

Thanks Catalyst for the article. It made me install and try it.

No problem brother, glad you're enjoying it. They've really done some good work on this version, long overdue in my opinion. It finally made me use the browser more often than I did before.

Yeah man that's why I was recommending to try it because it's a lot better in many ways. Also one of my favorite features is tab grouping, that makes life so much easier. Whenever I have a billion tabs in Chrome I'm always missing this function.
