    Sonic Illusions updated FinalCD to 0.23 since Autumn 2013.
    FinalCD is a FREE top-notch quality mastering-grade resampler (sample-rate converter). Works in command-line.

    Changelog for latest versions (since v0.17 (22/09/2013)):

    03/04/16 - Now supports major sampling rates from 48-384K and DSD64, DSD128 (Alternative changelog: Support for DSD downconversion from uncompressed DSD or DFF files. Also add support for 384K, 352.8K, 192K, 176.4K and 88.2K input, as many extra filters added) (v0.20)
    04/04/16 - Fixed bug in DSD128 downconversion (v0.21)
    14/04/16 - Fixed handling of Pro Tools WAV files with abnormal fmt chunk (v0.22)​
    10/07/16 - Allow variable gain to be applied when processing (v0.23)
    03/08/16 - Fixed bug in processing short input files (v0.24)

    This SRC (in Sharp mode) has a maximum close to the ideal filter, with steep high-cut linear-phase filter starting at 21.950 Hz, without any aliasing and/or intermodulation distortions (lower than -180 dB at 32 bit int) to achieve maximum quality resampling with cleanest results and full band range. There are also Gentle and Medium Slope "Goldilock" filter modes, but Sharp one is the most cleanest of them. Supports only downconversion to 44.100 Hz for CD preparing (before limiting/maximizing and dithering). Why before limiting? Because to avoid digital peak and true-peak to be clipped, because even linear-phase may move some peaks a bit, but without phase warping/distortions and smearing transients in time domain. For dithering (which is after limiter) I recommend iZotope's MBIT+ (can be found in Ozone, RX)

    Interesting. I'm going to test it. I'm still using good old R8brain free, and sometimes SoX as a Foobar2000 plugin.
