    In my opinion, newsgroups are the way to go. They've been around longer than the WWW - you have years of retention, you download with your maximum bandwidth at all times (depending on the server you signed up on), there are no broken links, and there's no need to establish peer-to-peer connections.

    I checked audio warez news groups and right now there is not a lot there. Perhaps there will be more there now that the file sharing has slowed down.

    I agree news groups are a slick way to collect downloads.

    I can imagine that one of the reasons audio warez are so rare on Usenet is because people don't make a quick buck with every download of a file that they've uploaded.

    Maybe somebody could write a small tutorial (in the "lounge") how to use newsgroups, because I have no clue how to do it.
