My Fender Studio Pro 8.03 does NOT recognize Fender Quantum ES2. I am stymied.
STUDIO ONE does not recognized my Quantum. The Quantum ES2 is listed as just "Quantum ES" in the S1 audio interface list. S1 states "unable to initialize" when I choose Quantum ES in S1's audio interface options.
I have uninstalled both S1 and ES2 many times, then I manually edited the registry after each removal of Quantum ES2's Universal Control and Fender uninstals. I then reinstalled Universal Control and reflashed the ES2 with latest firmware via Universal Control as directed in UC's manual.
Windows apps see and use the ES2 successfully. The Quantum is clearly listed in device manager as ES2. Cubase 13.20, Wavelab 13 and S1 8.0.2 and 8.0.3 all fail to see the Quantum ES2. All other Windows apps use the ES2 properly. What am I missing?
=Win11 latest, Quantum ES2 firmware 3.01 latest, Universal Control 5 latest, Fender Pro Studio 8.0.3, Sphere 3.0, 64 Gb ram, Intel, plenty of HDD and SSD

Are you sure you don't have anything hogging the ASIO output while Studio Pro tries to initialize? I had this problem occasionally with my Audient, and usually just restarting fixed it.
