WoW that's actually how it sounds on my project but i think I get your idea about increasing the volume it really shows on the Ver. you did. But may i ask what do you mean by Radio Mastering? i am really interested to know. From what i learned is that on the Master Track is better to leave it without any additional Audio Effects such as EQ,Reverb,Delay...etc.

Thank you for taking the time to modify and improve my Track huge honor sir :D

    It's not an improvement.
your mixing is ok, when it was not, your song would sound like crap.
    You are an good mixer.
The art of Mastering is another skill.
here is a guy that knows alot about it.

not so bad. it has a mix of "summer vibes" and EDM in addition to Trance which I like.
if you listen to Armin Van Burren last album, he's now far ( far) away from Trance, so, unless you want to stick to the usual kick/bass gimmick ( which I like also, don't get me wrong ) it's good to let your creativity enter the game.
maybe pay attention more to your kick/bass - lines in order to make them more punchy and try to get into more complex arrangements as your skills progress.
    keep going

Thank you for taking the time and for your comment :D

I agree Armin has been steeping away from regular Trance, The only tracks that i see that has a Trance tune to them are the Anthems (and some even have a lot Progressive Elements to them)

I understand, a lot of people also suggested that i work on my Kick/Bass sound since they are a bit low and in some cases in the track Bass is gone. I will try to do something in order to make them more punchy as you suggested!

For the arrangements I tried to do a simple arrangement since i just started but it seems maybe i lost some of the sound tracks which made the song a bit empty as i understood and will try to add more and try to check more guides on more complex and full arrangements.

Appreciate all the awesome tips you suggested hope you have a great day :D

    Dear mox,

Welcome to the awful world of trance production lol. Trance/Psytrance are probably the most complex genres to get on to. You're right they say you need to be original.
I've started myself one year ago, I've watched almost all the production courses wrt Trance/Psytrance since, plus dozens of tutos about plugins, and mixing, and mastering, and sound design also.

The thing is, you just started so don't try and make everything at the same time !

Yes there are people designing their own kicks using specific plugins, or their snares/hihats/risers using synths, and spending hours creating interesting FX with various creative tools. And there are people that are starting from scratch each time. Not to mention those expert in 10 different DAWs and third party tools. And it' great.

But since you're new on all that, and provided that you want at some point your tracks to be played in clubs, you HAVE to follow some "rules", which are just a consequence of the past 30 years of experience of electronic producers, and is highly valuable to augment your chance not to create your own indie genre ;-)
When you're experienced, then you will have your workflow, a smooth one, and you will then be able to use your creativity efficiently to make things original.

But for now, if you want to avoid the following options:
    - never get any track done
    - get totally upset and leave your desk forever

Here is the workflow I have made:
    - Listen to the tracks that have most touched or inspired you in the past months, in the genre you wish to follow
    - Import them as reference tracks in your empty project, matching the tempo of it
    - Choose one of them as your main reference (the other ones will be for inspiration and timbre reference)
    - Copy the exact structure (Intro, build-up, drops, breaks, outro, etc...)
    - listen to each part carefully (what EXACTLY is playing when: bass, pads, synths, FX, risers, kicks, ...)

    And follow the same structure.
I'm not saying you have to put a kick each time there is one in your reference track. But doing so is a really good way to learn and not to get stuck asking yourself: where am I going now ?

Hope that helps, just sharing my personal experience and mistakes of the past year.

    Sincerely,

Greetings lorenzolamasse, Thank you for you detailed post about your personal experience in Trance Production it is highly appreciated and well written! :)

At the moment I'm not designing any thing, most of the sounds in the track are presets for sylenth,Wav...etc because just like you said I'm just a beginner and don't want to put all my effort in it and I still don't have the basic arrangement correctly. but I totally get your point and ofcourse as my skill gets better with experience I can test out new arrangements as you suggested.

A lot of the Amazing people here also suggested that I should put a track that I like as reference so I can make the track go along the correct arrangements and what sound should be playing when exactly. And yes you are right! I asked my self "where am I going now ?" multiple times while making the track and it was sometimes frustrating to the fact that made me think that maybe the Melody is not right or other Sounds in the Track are not placed correctly which is why the arrangements got a bit messy.

Again Thank you for taking the time and writing you personal experience in Trance production and your valuable input, Your suggestions means a lot and Noted! :)
