very nice, but I think you need to reduce the loudness a tad :mates: just used metallica as a ref and you are well above them :grooves:

Maybe it would be a different result if you compared it to Lars' St Anger drums

    Ok, now seriously...

Nice track. If anything, I'd add more variations with the kicks. It doesn't sound like metal to me, sort of a hard rock thingymagig. Nice work! Even more impressive that it's all virtual.

@SirSillySausage Thank you for your feedback, well yeah you're right, the guitar's volume needs to be redcuced, and oh well i'm happy to be compared to a PRO group as metallica, well i just play with my virtual instruments tho  but that's great to have some good feedbacks,

@Demon : Thank you, you too for your reply, i can't tell the diffrance actually but you're right i just listened to some metal kick, it's different, however if drums have power that's okey with me...

and yeah i find it a challenge to make this kind of track sounds as real as possible !

& Btw, i made a video & i was waiting for the upload to finish so i can put it in my reply,

    Hey, Mr Lyann Music.

Mate, when I said variations, I didn't mean the sound of the kicks. These are up to you and only go by taste. What I means is for the kicks to do different patterns.

So, for instance, at times, instead of going kick, kick, snare; kick, kick, snare. You cold mix them up a bit. Some double kicks and what not. An accent here and there, etc.

I hope that makes sense, I'm on my third glass of wine here. hahaha.

    Good stuff man.

Yep, exactly. For instance the very start could have some mid-tempo double kicks or something like that. Mat, anything you want. The thing is, it sounds fine but, as you say, I'd make it a bit more dynamic, but it's up to you.

Good luck with this man. Post whatever changes you make. Cool stuff!

    Cool stuff, good tune.

I miss making rock/metal... all i do these days is produce electronic. Fun to do but not the same as banging out a riff on a guitar.

Sounds really good. What did you use for instrumentation? Sounds quite real and well mixed. I could see someone singing over this for sure.
