I think 2caudio Aether is an incredible sounding, flexible reverb. Its my go-to for most purposes. Apart from that, Valhalla Room and Shimmer

My go to is QL space by east west sounds. its the most natural one i find and i have test a lot of them which always song fake and tin can when push hard. ql space is similar to aliverb but cheaper

My favourite Reverb plug-ins lately are the UAD Lexicon 224 and Valhalla stuff, especially the Shimmer and VintageVerb. I also quite enjoy Overloud breverb, oddly enough.

Although the taste in reverbs for me seems to shift yearly. :)))))

Valhalla for me 90% of the time, but I also enjoy Aether etc... the NI new stuff is nice, but haven't used it that much... Space Designer for Logic is great, but unfortunately I am using Ableton more now for writing.... the HVerb for the new waves is nice but eats cpu for lunch... but I also use like crappy hardware units like alesis stuff and yamaha rex50's for noisy 12 bit reverse algo's etc.... but that is more of an "effect"..

My favorite is the one that works all the time...

    That being said...

Here are my five favorites (the order varies by project and genre):

Audio Ease-Altiverb (for orchestral it's amazing, nothing better IMO)
2C-Audio-Aether (for orchestral and pretty much everything)
Valhalla Vintage Verb (VERY versatile with add-on presets especially)
    Valhalla Room (good, basic 'verb)
    Valhalla Shimmer (awesome ambient 'verbage)

    beyond five:
    2CAudio-Breeze
    2CAudio-B2
    Logic's Space Designer
iZotope Ozone 5 reverb (quite good in post mix)
    Native Instruments-RC-24
    Native Instruments-RC-48

    Got rid of:
All Waves plugins (they color audio too much and NOT in a good way and because of that take up too much space on my computer too!)
Lexicon reverbs... (got tired of the ugly GUI)

Had to pop in to give a thumbs up for Hofa IQ-Reverb. I have been able to get very usable results with it from the start. It has become one of my go-to plugins. It is less talked about but i think it is a great reverb plugin.

Oh and I've been using the NI RC24 as well. Better than you would think for sure. Not as huge a fan of the 48 but the 24 sounds great!

Sonnox for percussion and early reflections (shorter verbs) as I find it awesome for 'placing' stuff. Mixture of whatever (valhalla, lex, altiverb etc.) for longer - wetter reverbs.

I like Altiverb 6,Lexicon pcm bundle,Overloud Breverb 2,for convolution reverbs.
Algorythmic reverb I like Wave Arts Master Verb.
And the nice WizooVerb W5 which is hybrid, convolution and algorythmic.

i don't know the Valhalla,I will try it soon !

Try out the RC24. I'm a former Breverb2 user because of it. The cpu load is about the same as Breverb which is great!

    Nobody mentioned Liquidsonics - Reverberate?

Sorry this is off-topic but I'm looking for software equivalents of:
    Strymon: Big Sky
    Eventide: H9
    .....

Thanks for your advice, but I already have the NI RC24 & RC48,and I think it's not very precise,it has too few parameters...I find it too simplified in my opinion, even if this reverb can be suitable in some circumstances.

But if you don't know the WizooVerb W5,try it ! This reverb is awesome in terms of quality of sound,it sounds great!!!

I've noticed LExicon reverbs really sound nice on drums!
Can anyone recommend any good reverbs for vocals.

Sometimes I find 2C Audio plugins make them quite muddy and colours the vocals too much, makes it hard to gel in a mix.
The built in reverb in Nectar 2 I find is very nice on vocals however want to find a good all around reverb which I can use on sounds as well as the vocals in a project
