This is a crazy plugin. The fact that you can pan, level and process every replay individually with effects (even 3rd party effects) is mind blowing. I love it.

 

I should have mentioned Repeater, it's sounds phenomenal. All D16 plugins do honestly.

yes Eventide H3000 Band Delays is one of the best also people sleep on it

 

I think you're right I need to give those more attention this week because I haves sort of glossed right over them thinking they are too old by now. Glad you two mentioned them.

Tried that yesterday and it's a decent delay for simple echos. I like other NoiseAsh plugins more though.

Same way the Reverb thread does.

 

Top 5, descending order.
FabFilter Timeless 2. It has less bells and whistles than 3, but a more flexible delay routing.
FabFilter Timeless 3. It does have a pretty impressive set of bells and whistles after all.
u-He ColourCopy. A very underrated delay. Way more powefrul than it gives away initially.
Minimal System Delay Studio. Insanely characterful multiband 32-bit freebie. Would've been my top 1 if not for all the bridging hassle.
UVI Relayer. About as much about bells and whistles as Timeless 3, but with less modulation options (duuuh) and more cumbersome. Also has entirely different character.

Really looking forward to Other Desert Cities by Audio Damage becoming my new favourite delay BTW *wink-wink*

LOL I looked that one up because I haven't seen it come up before either.
But damn it sound magical, especially that granular delay patch. 6 different types of delays under the hood sounds pretty good.

 

Valhalla Delay - So fast and easy to use and sounds great!

 

Agreed 100%. Such a beast with so few parameters. The MIDI input makes it a different plugin altogether.
It might be my favorite u-he fx plugin, and that's saying something.

 

Rhythm Lab Twin delay is my favorite Dub delay, Haas Kilohearts to delay the left or right channel
H-delay for all other stuff.

Fruity Delay 3 does it for me, but I don't honestly like it. But I always put delay on send and EQ and saturate the output a bit. However it seems that Fruity Delay 3 has a tiny amount of idle noise, put an OTT at like 50-60% it is clearly audible, you can also check EQ. I am way too obsessed with reverb
