Fabfilter Pro-R and Presets?

    WHere are they?

    I swore when I first installed Pro-R there were presets.

    Of course I can build my own, but many times a few tweaks of a preset is all I need.

    My OSX is El Cap though... my laptop which is not with me, which runs Mavericks, is where I originally installed Pro-R when it came out.

    and yes... I am using a version from "sis" ;D

    (hopefully 22122242 stops by for a reply :D)

    Try download and install the demo version then reinstall the R2R version over it :wink:

    Options > Restore Factory Presets while in the preset menu.

    I had this. Lost all factory presets for no reason, one day. I just did what Pinkman said and I got it back. I don't know the cause of this, maybe the cr*ck...

    I did that prior to my post... I am wondering if it's a problem with El Capitan?

    @Pinkman

    I tried this but I get an error in latest v of Ableton.

    I'm on Windows but FabFilter presets work universally so try putting these in: MAC\Library\Audio\Presets\FabFilter\Pro-R

    I know you're on OSX and I'm not entirely sure how AU presets are handled but there are different locations and file format for those. With Ableton it's something like:
    [Home]/Library/Audio/Presets/[manufacturer]/[plug-in]/

    What error is Ableton giving you?
