anyone having a problem where fab filter is not using any visualizations within the plugin? i cant see the frequency graph on pro Q 3, or getting volume information in Pro C or Pro G.

Ive tried reinstalling a couple of times without any fixes. Is there a plist or a different installer that will work? im using Monterey 12.4

 

I am on older os and can't help; but let me ask because someone else will need to know. Did you ever have this release functioning correctly under Monterey, and did you try any other releases yet?
Did you make sure to get a U2B/m1 release for m1 processor, or Intel release for an Intel?

 

i have it working fully on my laptop, but the issue im describing is on my desktop. same OS, same OS version. I cant remember which installer I used for my laptop, but the Moria version is what I used on my desktop

 

You have a Pro as a desktop? That's an intel processor. You need an intel release. It doesn't matter what is working on another machine. You can install Monterey on either type. The other machine and what is running is immaterial.

 

Could you provide more infos? Plugins version (cmd+I on the .component or .vst), daw (with version), intel/silicon?

 

its an m1 mac studio

version 3.21 apple silicon 64 bit, running ableton live 11.2.7

mac os monterey 12.4
mac studio m1

Did you already tried to use both the AU and VST version of the plugin in Live?

Anyway you can also try with the version "FabFilter v2022.02.15 TRAZOR"

does anyone have any tips for a smart uninstall so that im installing it fresh ?

 

i just totally uninstalled including preferences and application support, reinstalled with the trazor and having the same issue, no audio visualizations on any of the plugins

 

weird- just from restarting my machine it begins to work again

 

Great. Software/system restart is usually the first thing to try.
