Hi all,

I'm trying to get EDdrummer 2 installed amd setup properly on my Win 10 system. Im having issues with it not finding the extra EZX libraries, as I cant choose the path to install them. Then when I start the program it cant find the extra soundbanks, Or Im getting errors, saying I need to update eg: Funkmasters etc.

Whats the best way to set this up on PC? I'm trying to install the full app along with a few EZX, including the Funkmasters, Hip Hop, Electronic and Electronic Edge soundbanks. But to be honest its a bit of a shambles, the installers seem to install stuff all over the HDD.
So, was wondering whats the best way to get this installed and working properly?

I have the orig full v2 of the app : Toontrack EZdrummer v2.0.0 WiN, MacOSX Incl Patched and Keygen R2R along with Toontrack EZdrummer v2.2.2 CE Update-V.R and the following EZX : Funkmasters, Hip Hop, Electronic and Electronic Edge soundbanks

typically when you install the program you tell it where you want the files to be installed.
I have all my toontrack files installed on a separate drive in my PC and ez drummer finds them there.

There's definitely a simple way in setup to point it to where your expansions are installed but I can't tell you step by step without it in front of me.

 

Hi, thanks for the reply/info. That's ultimately what id like to do, have the program on the C drive then the EZX soundbanks on another drive, but some of the installers don't give an option to select destination drive. How did you go about installing your setup? Is the v2 R2R version I have ok as the base version? also, is the v2.2.2 VR version ok as the update? Do you know if I'm missing a sound file update?

Ok, thanks for the reply. maybe whenever your sitting in front of your setup, drop me a quick pointer please? Id really appreciate any help, as its been doing my head in, the last day or two.

 

Install

1.) Uninstall EZdrummer 2

2.) Create a folder with the name " Toontrack " on the desired drive, D / E / F etc, where the libraries will be placed later.

3.) Reinstall EZdrummer 2

4.) You will be asked where to install the libraries, then enter the path on the drive D / E / F etc " Toontrack ".

This tells EZdrummer that all subsequent installations will automatically be installed into your newly created " Toontrack " directory.
