Hi All

First post on here, so hope I make sense about my problem!

I have just updated my EZDrummer 2 from version 2.1.4 to 2.1.6, following the methods on another post on this forum.

All appears to have installed correctly, except my EZX expansions now need to be authorised again. The EZX2 expansions are fine and play when tested. All the expansions ran without trouble on my 2.1.4 version.

I have run the R2R Keygen and have tried to authorise the EZX expansions, but with no success. I am able to generate a Serial Code and a Computer I.D, but when I click the "Authorization Code" section, the Keygen states "Successfully Generated Authorized Code" but the box remains blank with no code to transfer to authorise in EZDrummer.

I've read through the posts on here for help, but am still having troubles!!

I thought it may be the EZX expansions need to be updated, which I have done to some of them (from the sister site) but although the kit shows the new version number, it still asks for authorization.

I can give further details if needed...any help would be much appreciated.

I remember having troubles with EZD2 and libs like you told. Lately I use a no install version, but I'll check this thread in case you don't solve your problem.

I think the latest updates are for EZD2 libraries to work with Superior Drummer 3. Not sure 100% but is consistent with your problem not being that.

 

Thanks for your reply, Xupito...have finally sorted the problem!!!

I had to use an older R2R KeyGen (2014) to create the Authorisation Codes for each EZX kit. Tried and tested and all appear's to work fine.

Hope this will be of use to others who may have the same trouble.
