External hard drive security software

    I've been using WD my passport and Toshiba Canvio, and replaced them with something else recently. The thing is that it is hard to find really good security software like WD security or Toshiba HDD Passport Tool. I found several third-party apps, but they don't lock the device automatically when I shut down my laptop. The best option is Kaka soft Folder Protector, but it also doesn't support automatic lock.
    Does anybody know similar apps like them?
    What I'm looking for is a simple password lock system, but not encryption.

    The good old TrueCrypt 7.1a.
    NOT TrueCrypt 7.2.
    Works only on MBR, not GPT.

    Thanks, but that is the problem. Plus, it requires too complicated steps. I need the simple one as I mentioned.
