One thing I really appreciate in other DAWs is the ability to use any Audio Editor (e.g.) Sound Forge instead of their own editor.

Is this also possible with Studio One by now?
Could it be somehow achieved with tools like Studio One X?

I am on Windows and as far as I understood the linked page there is currently no way to just use an external editor in a way other DAWs offer it. :/

i think the idea is that you can do most editing tasks in the studio one program on the the timeline.
but there is no option to open docs in a 3rd party program as of yet...
