I'm looking for a new set of studio monitors for a 2nd studio setup. I've been using M-Audio BX8a's for the last 6 or so years and have been happy with them for the most part. Although they have been my first and only pair. So I don't have much to compare them to.

Anyway, the mentioned EMOTIVA Airmotiv 6s monitors look really interesting to me, plus they fit very nicely towards the lower part of my budget. Does anybody out there have any experience with them? I'd really love to hear what you have to say about 'em.

My budget stops at about $600. I'd gladly hear opinions about other similarly priced great monitors but I mostly want to know about the Airmotiv 6s.
