Ok i've F'd around the synth a bit before hitting the pillow.
The sound is unreal.....well, in fact they sound REAL wich is not something we are used to in the digital realm.

Of course my first try was on the percs.

Played with the YazzKick...removed all effects except the sonic conditioner that I crancked to 7db
Brought the amp envelope deay to 48 release to 50

Layered a snare (EH Vintage stage )
Sonic cond to 4db
Amp envelope release 100 decay 19.5
Filter envelope release to 20 decay to 28

Eqed the snare with Austica triumph with a -9db LPF
Gain stage snare to -6db

Gain stage kick to -3db

AAaaaaah My brain

Ok, all muted.

Damn that Trumpet sound is very very simlar to the real thing....I need to put some flutter and Wow and I an do the real 70's synth thingy.

You are paying for the filter emulation and the presets...

That is something you will need to decide for yourself as worth as a function of one's personal reality and cannot be dictated by another's experience. There is no true baseline of definition when it comes to much anything, much less with things dependent on sound and twiddling knobs.

I dont know about you but personally im totaly convinced im on a spaceship on an epic journey with the great universe in front of me and i'm not sure i'll be able to get off the ship one day.

I'm freaking glad I got this one (and Diva at the same time, they are in the end two completely different beasts) on discount !

Thanks for sharing it does give a really nive oversight of what this synth sounds like...Nice demo, Man !
I've used the ark space traveler preset (arpeggios), I also used the yazoo kick which is very nice, and the vintage monohue lead (EH very tripping), with a couple of kontakt/output libraries and a few drum samples in geist, it's a synth with an attitude that really leaves it's identity in the tracks you use it in.
It shows in your track, it's awesome ! Drips of analogue goodness....From a soft synth....

i'm using Diva, Zebra, and all the UhBik plugins, will test Repro-1 as soon as it's cracked.

 

Is the synth too CPU hungry?

just tried the demo.
it sounds good, cleaner than a real analog, a little rougher than Diva in some cases.
on my setup it's not too much cpu hungry.

i would have included some more modern sound, the bundled presets are nothing special, classic synth sounds from the 80s but this synth can go way beyond that !
silky sound, perfect for soundtracks.
