Cheers for the presentation by sadowick...Always fun.

 

Check this out, it sounds sooo beautiful. It is mixed impeccibly so it helps to make the synth sound most amazing. I had just bought The Legend for the same $99, I wonder if Urs would trade me.

Anybody find a changelog from the most recent Beta? There doesn't seem to be a post about the release on KVR yet

 

I really enjoyed their free "filter test" version of it. Anybody compared the release version to that?

 

I wasn't around for the filter test but there are three different filter models via the Tweaks page

Do you know where they took their Kick sound ?
Everything is awesome about the track !

Also, what hardware is that supose to be emulating ?

It seems like the sound might be more suited to my need then the Diva....or maybe I just didnt play correctly with the Diva....

Ah yes this beat sounds good...And this one was made by the man Uhrs himself...I think the drums might have been done with the synth too. On the repro1 page of Uhe website, on every other demo tracks - except this one and another - it's specified that the drums are the only part that wasn't made with repro. But I think for this track and the other it was actually done with repro.
Uhrs is cool I bet you can even ask him directly on the Uhe forum on kvr (if someone hsn't already have) !

Diva is a different beast...it has a lot more oscillators models - classics amongs the classics - and a lot of filters and tweaks available for having fun with the voices, unison and all that. Diva is polyphonic, not Repro1. And Diva is much more expansive.
I love Diva, but I'm starting to love Repro1 too...And Bazille btw, what a beast too but it's a bit complicated and twisted.

No change log. I know they fix stuffs, I had bugs in the previous release but I don't know in details.

I don't know anything about the track besides it appealing greatly to me, everything about it from it's head down to it's knees. A kind friend gifted it to me today, and the few minutes that I was able to spend pressing keys and tweaking it's dials was incredibly fulfilling. I put up Repro-One next to The Legend which I had bought last month and it was an unfair comparison to me. Silkier when it tried for soft, grittier when it would imitate sandpaper, it left the other in the dust. It's effects are more mature and the entire presentation from soup to nuts outclassed and out weighed the competition. No competition. YRMV.

I havent tried it yet, I'm about to start working, I work from home but was downloading Jazz albums in flac and never saw the time pass.

Allright cool @martel80 , thank you for that, I actually like that kick too and I wander how it was made.

 

Supposedly it will self destruct as it takes your whole computer down with it as it spirals through the vortex of a black hole on its way to a new universe the very first second of the new year. 2017, what an old ominous looking and sounding batch of numbers. I think I'm just going to pass directly over to 2018. Anyone coming with me?
